The birch is a most graceful and enchanting tree, whether fully cloaked in her summer greenery, or even more so as autumn signals a change of colour scheme into the greens, golds and reds that shimmer and shake in the autumn breeze.  The autumn sun and sky are softer too, as nature yields to the inevitable change of season.
